Rekanektiv Arts is a creative platform founded by Ayla in 2025, dedicated to fostering creativity and self-expression through art. We offer a range of art programmes, workshops, and activities for individuals, families, and the community, focusing on therapeutic art-making, skill development, and personal growth. Our programmes are designed to inspire creativity, build confidence, and promote well-being. We bring art to you, adapting to your space or dedicated spaces, making it convenient and accessible. Our programmes cater to individuals, groups, schools, and organisations, providing tailored art experiences to suit diverse needs and goals.

Ayla Omar

Ayla (Suhaila Omar) is a creative professional with a background in design and visual arts. She holds a Diploma in Interior Architecture and Design and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Graphic Arts and Communication, refining her skills in visual communication and spatial design. Ayla's passion for design led her to work as an exhibition and graphic designer, where she discovered her passion for teaching in the education sector. Ayla believes in the therapeutic power of visual arts and has developed and conducted art and creative programmes, workshops, and activities for schools, the Singapore Art Museum, and community events, particularly with children and youth groups. She is registered under the Art Instructor and MOE Instructor schemes with the Ministry of Education, Singapore. Ayla has also served as a long-term relief teacher in a secondary school, gaining insight into the challenges youth face today. She consistently volunteers with youth groups. In 2025, Ayla established Rekanektiv Arts.
